Casa de Loma is in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico (See Map). Las Piedras is a suburban community high in the hills just west of Humacao. The house is a forty-five minute drive from San Juan's International airport. It is situated more than 1000 feet above sea level, overlooking striking vistas, including rugged mountain ridges, pasture lands and neighborhoods of Caribbean/Spanish architecture. The surroundings are lush, verdant and tropical. Palms, citrus trees and yucca plants abide. Flowering bougainvillea, poinsettia, flamboyant and hibiscus color the hillsides. On a clear morning, as you descend the hill to town, your views will include spectacular vistas of the rainforest summits.

Generally, the weather in Puerto Rico is wonderful! Temperatures range from 70°F in the evenings up to 90°F on the hottest of summer days. During the winter months day time temperatures range from 75° to 82°F. On the north and east of Puerto Rico, which is lush and tropical, it is not uncommon to a have a brief and cooling rain shower during the day, between periods of bright sunshine. To the southwest, rain is very infrequent.

Reservations require a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% rental fee. A $500 refundable security deposit and balance of the rental fee must be received 14 days before occupancy date.
Casa Soleada is a special getaway for couples and small families of up to five. Located in a unique setting with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, Casa Soleada is a one-bedroom home with its own private swimming pool.
